AYSO Progressive Training
Progressive Training Sessions are for Players and Coaches
Our AYSO Region will once again hold special training sessions for motivated players who want more touches on the ball and enjoyed getting extra workouts and knowledge. I have been fortunate enough to be around many of the top “Clubs” in the state of Oregon and know it is not much more than executing the basics. We will assure to teach each player new skills every session, and let them try them during a live game situation at end of each session. Coaches are encouraged to attend!
Region 870 is offering Winter session practice for all players interested in off-season play. These sessions will focus on positional play and are open to all currently registered players U10 and above. The winter session AYSO Progressive training sessions do not cost any additional fee's.
The first session will be at Memorial Middle School Gym from 10 AM to 1 PM. There will be special guests to work with players in addition to AYSO coaches which are sure to intrigue, inspire and challenge players skill.
Please ensure you wear all appropriate gear as if attend a normally sanctioned AYSO game. Bring plenty of water and a snack as there will be brief breaks taken to hydrate and snack. And of course; bring an AYSO attitude and enthusiasm towards learning.

No, anyone can come to any session that works to their schedule. However you will notice a clear improvement by end of fall season the more you attend.
Is there a Progressive Team?
Yes there are Progressive teams that find competition outside normal AYSO schedules. The way these teams are formed is directly related to a coach volunteer and dedicated players who attend regularly. Our region has had a few different teams over the years who have competed in OYSA, KSC and KidSports Leagues.
